8 Steps to Clean Your Kitchen in Only 10 Minutes

Clean kitchen with white countertops and gold faucet

Cleaning the kitchen can be a daunting task, especially if you have a busy schedule or a large family.  However, with a few simple tips and tricks, it’s possible to clean your kitchen in under 10 minutes.  Here’s how:

Use the Right Tools

Having the right cleaning tools on hand can make a big difference when it comes to cleaning your kitchen quickly.  Make sure you have a good quality multi-purpose cleaner, cleaning cloths, a scrub brush, and a sink cleaner.  Having these tools easily accessible will make your cleaning process much faster.

Clear the Clutter

Having the right cleaning tools on hand can make a big difference when it comes to cleaning your kitchen quickly.  Make sure you have a good quality multi-purpose cleaner, cleaning cloths, a scrub brush, and a sink cleaner.  Having these tools easily accessible will make your cleaning process much faster.

Spray and Wipe

Once you’ve cleared the clutter, grab a multi-purpose cleaner and spray down all of your surfaces, including counters, stovetop, and sink.  Allow the cleaner to sit for a few seconds, then grab a cloth and wipe everything down.  This should remove any surface-level dirt and grime quickly.

Soak Dishes

If you have any dishes in the sink, fill it with hot, soapy water and let them soak while you clean the rest of the kitchen. This will make them easier to clean later on.

Tackle the Stovetop

Next, focus on cleaning your stovetop.  Use a stovetop cleaner or baking soda and water mixture to scrub away any grease or stuck-on food.  If you have a gas stove, don’t forget to remove the burner grates and clean them separately.

Wipe Down Appliances

After cleaning the stovetop, wipe down any appliances that are in need of cleaning.  Use a damp cloth to wipe down the fridge, microwave, and dishwasher.

Clean the Sink

Finally, give your sink a quick scrub using a sink cleaner or a mixture of baking soda and vinegar.  Don’t forget to scrub around the edges and drain to remove any buildup.

Sweep and Mop

If you have a few extra minutes, grab a broom and sweep the kitchen floor. Then, use a mop or Swiffer to quickly clean the floors.
